Certification Services Feedback
Question: Can I appeal against an NSAI certification decision?
Answer: Yes. If an organisation considers that a certification decision (in other words the decision whether an organisation should be registered or not) is in any way unsound, an appeal can be made to NSAI by contacting the Client Services Director, Mr. Paddy Breen - telephone (01) 807 3890. The NSAI Appeals Procedure can be downloaded here in PDF.
Question: If I want to complain about any other aspects of NSAI service, do I use the Appeals Procedure?
Answer: No. The appeals procedure is only to be used about certification decisions. If you feel that some aspect of NSAI's service is unsatisfactory, you should first discuss the issue with your auditor. If this does not provide you with a satisfactory outcome, you can raise the matter with the auditor's Operations Manager or Client Services Director Mr Paddy Breen - telephone (01) 807 3890. NSAI's complaints procedure is publicly available.
Alternatively, there is a dedicated e-mail address for service quality issues at Feedback@nsai.ie.
